This pie is made with local tree ripened peaches in August. It is a beautiful, juicy and luscious pie!

WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR FROZEN PIE:
LUCKY YOU TO HAVE RECEIVED A YUMMY GIFT FROM CRANE’S! HERE’S SOME THINGS TO KNOW. WHEN YOU GET YOUR BOX AND IT SAYS IT HAS DRY ICE IN IT, BE AWARE THAT IF THERE IS ANY DRY ICE REMAINING PLEASE HANDLE WITH GLOVES AND DISPOSE OF IT IN A SINK. PUT YOUR FROZEN GOODIES IN YOUR FREEZER UPON OPENING AND RECYCLE YOUR PACKAGING. WHEN YOU ARE READY TO BAKE, YOU CAN REMOVE YOUR PIE FROM THE FREEZER AND TAKE IT OUT OF ANY BAG OR PACKAGE IT IS IN, LEAVING IT IN THE PIE PLATE OR TRAY THAT IT COMES IN. (DO NOT THAW! THEY ARE MEANT TO BE BAKED FROM FROZEN) PLACE THE PIE ON A BAKING TRAY THAT CAN BE COVERED WITH FOIL OR PARCHMENT PAPER TO SAVE FROM SPILL OVERS. MOST OF OUR BAKED GOODS START OUT IN A PREHEATED 400° OVEN AND PLACED IN THE CENTER OF THE OVEN TO BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES, THEN TURN THE OVEN DOWN TO 350°. MOST PIES WILL CONTINUE TO BAKE FOR ANOTHER HOUR. IF YOU BAKE IN A CONFECTION OVEN YOU CAN BAKE AT 350° FOR APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR TOTAL. YOUR PIE OR DESSERT WILL BE DONE WHEN IT IS OVERALL BROWN AND BUBBLY. IF THERE IS A TRANSPARENT LOOK TO THE CENTER CONTINUE BAKING FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES OR SO. APPLE PIES AND RHUBARB/RASPBERRY PIES CAN BE TESTED BY REMOVING A TASTE FROM A CRUST VENT. THE APPLE SHOULD BE SOFT WITH ONLY THE SLIGHTEST CRUNCH, IF ANY. APPLE SHOULD NOT BE OVER BAKED TO MAKE IT SAUCY. THE RHUBARB SHOULD BE SOFT WITH NO CRUNCH AT ALL! FOR THE PUMPKIN PIE AND THE DARK CHOCOLATE/PECAN PIE, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LABELS.
